AIU Orators Mark A Historic First With AIU Internal MUN 2026

ALOR SETAR, 10 June 2026 – AIU Internal MUN 2026 successfully concluded as Albukhary International University’s first internal Model United Nations conference on 9 June 2026. Organised by The Orators Club in collaboration with the Centre for Student Affairs and Alumni (CSAA), the programme brought together more than 60 students for an immersive experience in diplomacy, negotiation, public speaking, and global dialogue through the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), and World Trade Organization (WTO).

AIU Orators Club hosted a coaching session for 10 delegates from Kolej MARA Kuala Nerang, providing MUN training, mentorship, and a simulation to prepare them for the upcoming IPMA Model United Nations.

ALOR SETAR, 23 February 2026 – AIU Orators Club successfully organised a two-day multilingual public speaking workshop titled “Stand, Speak, Lead” at the LC Complex on 31 January and 1 February 2026, in collaboration with the Arab Students Association (ARSA) and the Malaysian Students Association (MaSAA).

Any current AIU student is welcome to join, regardless of your public speaking experience level — we train complete beginners as well as competitive debaters.

No, membership is free for all AIU students.

We run workshops and internal training sessions regularly throughout the semester, plus periodic competitions and MUN simulations. Check our Events page for the current schedule.

Yes — you're welcome to be part of MUN, The Debate, The Podium, and The Resonator all at once if you'd like.
